Insects are very interesting to fold, their symmetry can be perfectly captured with origami although their numerous legs, antenna and horns pose a big challenge. The more extremities a model has, the more complex it becomes. The model is presented in the form of a taxidermy beetle, placed in a plain black box frame with a hand written name tag that one would expect to see in a taxidermy shop, very much like the one below the flat I once resided in and spent a lot of time in to study endlessly the multitude of objects it stocked. The model is made of one uncut square (49x49cm) of double layered (black and orange) tissue paper; the finished model is 2.5 cm tall and 15cm long.
